Talking Saves Lives:

NEW NUMBER to remember
988 Veterans press 1

I remind myself as well as everyone who listens – talking saves lives.
It takes courage to talk.  It takes strength to talk.  Having problems doesn’t make you weak.  Everyone has problems.  Talking will help.
Remember that your thoughts are just thoughts.  You can change your thoughts.
I am continually reminded of the importance of talking.

Since last we casted out to the world, I lost the plants that were growing indoors here in the studio.  The cause was nutrient burn.   Too much, too soon is never a good thing.  It was my own fault.
Once I realized the error of my ways, I started germinating the new set of Light of Jah seeds.  All 20 seeds germinated, but not all of those made good seedlings.  All but 2 where healthy and strong.  Over the first few weeks another 2 plants have failed to grow at the pace of the others.  Another one or two are about to get culled out of the pack soon.
Sometimes the process can be disapointing.  The amount of time and effort it takes to get a plant all the way to harvest with good size, shape, color, and potency is not as easy as throwing some seeds in some dirt.
Now I am being extra cautious with these seedlings.  Worried to give them too much food, but also wanting to maximize every drop I feed them.
I love the challenge of growing high grade cannabis.  I enjoy being around the plants when they start to flower, they put off a good vibe.
I will keep Learning As I Grow and keep you updated along the way.
Pause for the Cause - From the Album Upside Your Head, Jason Elmore and Hoodoo Witch, Dracula Bite.
The Big News
We are moving back to the mainland.  No official date has been set, but we have decided to "Go Back".  Probably sometime next summer or early fall.
I recently posted a link to Craiglist because we are selling the Harley Davidson Tri-Glyde.  Several people wanted to know Why?
So, I explained we didn't want to ship the Harley back to the mainland when we move.
Although we did purchase a small piece of land in Central Washington, near the Columbia River, it's not our permanent destination.  At this point, we are planning to be Mobile.
RV-Life.  We have done the Off-Grid thing for a few years, now we want to try going Mobile.
Instead of the traditional RV cabin cruiser/ tour bus, we are opting for a 5th Wheel Trailer to be towed by a pick-up.
The land in Washington will be our Primary Summer stay place, but the rest of the year we plan to travel south to avoid snow.  Kathy will continue to work from home as she does now and I will manage what I can to keep things running smooth and maybe play a few gigs along the way.
Hopefully, taking a few of the lessons we learned here living Off-Grid and incorporate them into the next chapter.
What about this podcast Hi in Hawaii?... well, it will end, but we will continue to share our journey as we travel North America.
A new YouTube Channel will probably be the platform we use.  Video's of what we learn and the things we see along the way.
I wouldn't say that I will never do another Podcast, it's possible, just not sure yet.
So far, I just want to keep it to simple.   With short videos to be posted on YouTube for everyone to see.
Everything, almost everything is for sale.  We don't want to ship anything back.  Just the basic stuff is all we need...and a few guitars of course.
I will keep you updated along the way as I have a few more Podcast and Vodcast to do here before we leave.
One thing I have learned about podcast along the way, is that people love a good Murder Mystery.
I will not be doing any of that, but this song tells a haunting story...
Pause for the Cause song - To My Grave from the album Stanley - Merrol Ray
Talking Saves Lives:
Before I start reminding myself of what works
NEW NUMBER to remember
988 Veterans press 1
I was down on myself recently.  Struggling with physical issues that seem to be out of my control.  Pushed myself too far and too hard one day and payed the price through out the night with residule pain.  I know I should be my own best friend and look out for myself, but I keep getting in the way of me trying to help me not be me when me stuff needs to be done...I just seem to keep trying to be me.
I told a Doctor the other day, "I keep trying to manifest my body fixing itself using mind over matter...I keep trying to tell myself that if I concentrate hard enough with my mind, I can heal the broken parts."   She said "Well, That is where it starts".
It was not a fun day bieng at that Doctors office.  I was getting evaluated.  It's usually a cold, distant type of interaction at these types of appointments.  But not with this Nice Doctor.  She was very nice and helped me explain things in a more detailed manner.
As she sized up my legs the atrophy is obvious, but I had never measured.   She did.  My left injured leg, is 1 inch smaller around at the calf and 1 inch smaller at the ankle, compared to my right leg.  I can tell from looking at it, but I didn't realize how significant it was.
I will fix it.  I don't have a solid plan yet, but I soon will.
