Learning As I Grow ! -  Update from the
Greenhouse.  Harvest is complete.  Took about 6 weeks from the first plant to the last.  Overall, it was my best harvest ever.  If you remember from last year, I was able to cross pollinate a few strains to form a different Hybrid.  Light of Jah was crossed with Strawberry Ice to make Straw Jah.  Crossed with White Queen to make Queen of Jah.  As expected, the Strawberry Ice did bring with it some additional terpenes to give it a very nice berry flavor.  The Queen of Jah is a heavy hitter with a great euphoric high.  Another Cultivar was the Too Cool strain from Oklahoma.  I got these seeds from my friend Rod at his grow Rancho Stresso Farms.  It is also a heavy hitter.  Of all 3 it is the most potent, with Queen of Jah hanging tough at a close second.
I am always looking for creative ways to incorporate sugar into the plants diet.  This grow season I took fresh picked strawberries and ground them up to make a "strawberry tea".  I feel that this was a big reason for the great trichome production.  Another thing was to mix a Twisted Fusionz Delta 9 Syrup "green apple" into a gallon of water and fed that to the girls.  Maybe it made a difference!?!  I don't know for sure, but to me it's the best I have ever grown.
I have had a few people test out my "cultivars".  So far, all positive results.
1 person who is a daily user of cannabis said, "Your stuff from this grow is as good or better than anything I get from the stores in Oklahoma". Thank you Ohdub.
Another tester was my friend Chris who said, "Very Good Bra...smooth...and the taste is awesome."
Another Friend of mine said, "I took one big hit and then fell asleep and dreamed I was tripping...it was great!  That some of the best stuff I have ever smoked in my whole life! - Thank you JD
I expect to get other reviews over the next few weeks as I have given away samples to several people.

Noe Lani
Translated it means Heavenly Mist in Hawaiian or Mist from the Heaven.  Since our studio is named Misty Moutain Studio.  I guess we could call our place Misty Mountain Studio and Cannabis Farm.  When we got our little puppy 4 years ago, we wanted to keep the theme going so we name her Noe Lani.  She is a very smart and spoiled dog.  She doesn't really know she is a dog.  She Identifies as a Pupple.  A cross between a People and a Puppy..., Pupple.  She controls the house and will train any human that comes to stay.  She will train you how to throw a frisbee...repeatedly.
She will come scratch on your door in the morning to see if you are in need of a belly to rub.
She will smell your hands and feet when you get out of the car to see where you have been.  Smells every bag to see who touched it.  And sometimes., if she really likes you., she will lick your toes.  She's weird.  But we love our girl, Noe Lani.  She will here this podcast and not understand how that is coming out of the speakers.
Living in this rainforest we expect to get near 200 inches of rain per year.  On the dry days, we do as much as we can outside and on the other days.... well sometimes we just watch it rain.

Pause for the Cause song - Echoes - Pink Floyd
getting your money's worth on this episode....hahah...funny because we still are FREE and operate on tips...click on the little heart at the top of the website "Support the Show".
We were listening to the Pink Floyd album Meddle on our way to the top of the Mauna.  It was the first time we had got to go to the top of Mauna Kea.  I will have a video on my YouTube channel soon.  It was really cool.  Hopefully YouTube won't block it because of the music...
A quick shout out to all the great people at Mahinakealo Dermatology.  Dr Marne and her staff are top notch and do a great job taking care of their patients.  A few days ago, I was in for a follow up and the Doc had to freeze off some more pre-cancerous spots on my solar panel.  I have described this before.  It feels like a sandblaster, but with ice.  I just hold on tight and bare through it.  But it does sting just a bit for a while after.  Only had it done on the top of my head, so it may not feel the same in other areas.
I am grateful.  Thank you again Mahinakealo Dermatology and Dr. Marne!
So, you may be wondering why I have been quite for the last few months...(meaning - no new episodes).  I had promised to do a new episode every month this year, but something happened, and I just didn't have it in me to get a Podcast written, recorded, video, edit, published and promote.  I had a loss in my life that shook me up.
One of my nephews, my youngest Sister Traci's son Trae died from an overdose.  Fentanyl.  He had just turned 21.  It was her youngest of three children.  They buried him on April 19th.  I was not able to go to Texas, so I just watched from the computer.
I didn't feel like "celebrating" on 4-20.  I couldn't get past the shock for about 6 weeks.  Such a loss.
It's hard to explain., and probably harder to relate., but ever since I left for Air Force Basic Training, every time I would go home, someone else has passed on.  I never know who it will be that I see for the last time, but I always try to embrace each moment that I can, because I am very aware that it may be the last.
I'm starting to get past the shock, but I still have a hard time with losing Trae.
I'm still sad from the Veteran Suicide that occurred just down the road.  Dan was in a lot of pain, but we could have gotten him some help for that.  I miss him too.
I have been Talking about it with the people that I have in my Health Care Group.  I have discussed with them in detail my feelings and how I am coping.
Staying busy with projects around the place helps too.
Also, hanging out with an old friend for a few days was helpful.
Spending time with people who lift me up and encourage me has been a blessing.
It reinforces what I have been saying -
